My face looked shiny but in a healthy way and it absorbed well too. It has a slight smell to it that I actually quite liked too. In terms of plumping, I’ve used it for a couple days now and not seen anything dramatic but perhaps some slight plumping around my cheeks. The one issue I have with it is lack of instructions, no idea how close I could get it to my eyes, assumed not but it really needs directions on it. I used this twice a day too and you only need a small amount.
