The promise of sea and summer to come
Originally I thought coastal cypress sea fennel a strange combination but I was tempted to try it as a summer perfume. So I tested out the bath gel first before considering the more expensive perfume . I have tried several other perfumes, which I boughtbto start with in lockdown. They got me through and I use them every day. These were orange and bergamot, magnolia and Lily and flora luminere, all of which I love. I am thrilled that this one will be my next perfume purchase when I have finished the bath gel which is superb.

Not for me
I’m a big Molton Brown fan, it’s the best! I bought this to try as I keep seeing/hearing how good it is and it’s a bestseller. The colour and consistency are all beautiful as usual but this is not for me and I can’t understand the hype. I think it’s the fennel that comes through as an after waft and it’s horrid! Pine would be better. I understand it’s personal so go ahead and order but be warned! I guess it’s marmite, you love it or hate it. I’ll stick to YlangYlang and Templetree - both top of my list.

A classic, often imitated scent, but inconsistent
First tried in a hotel and loved it. Then I bought a full size body lotion and also loved it. However, for some reason, when getting a full size shower gel, the scent was very similar, but with a slightly different lingering note. I can only describe it as bitter woody or dusty woody. I read many other reviews where people talked about how different products in the same scent differ (candle, lotion, difffuser, shower gel, cologne, etc) and now I get it. I also got the diffuser and the scent is almost invisible and has that same bitter/dusty note. Pretty disappointed in that, but at least the shower gel is stronger and a good wash. Still, too expensive considering other brands that are better quality soap and packaging (Truefitt and Hill, Baxter of California, Bigelow, Skandinavisk).

So Good I Purchased 5 More
I thought I would try out this new product and I am so pleased I did, There are so many sanitisers on the market now that can leave your hands sticky, uncomfortable, and smell unpleasant, Although we are trying to protect ourselves this product does it all leaving your hands feeling smooth, fresh and leaves your hands smelling amazing for hours after. I loved it so much, that i logged back on line and ordered the other scents. I don't go anywhere now with out having this on me.

My new scent
I have always loved Molton Brown products. Usually, I pick Heavenly gingerlily (I even got my mother into Heavenly gingerlily and I've bought her the hand lotion for Christmas) but recently I was at a hotel that was using the coastal Cyprus sea fennel bath/shower gel and I fell in love with this fragrance. I have now bought myself the shower gel as a Christmas gift to myself. I've also asked for the hand soap from my brother for Christmas! Would recommend this scent.

Amazing
Took a leap of fsith after reading reviews. Bought this in lockdown hence unable to try it first. I've used M &B for years and my go to fragrances are anything pepperpod, Russian leather and tobacco. In a nutshell I like the heavier long lasting types. This scent has a summery feel and uplifting scent, definitely evocative of the coast. I would strongly recommend and am just about to go crazy and buy matching hand wash and lotion whilst there is an offer on@

A vacation by the sea - in a bottle.
To be honest, I didn't think I was going to like this scent. Cypress and fennel seemed like it would smell like pine and licorice. But I was so wrong. This smells amazing. It reminds me of beachy vacations and warm summer sun; happy times and relaxing spa indulgences. Needless to say, this is now my favorite scent from Molton Brown and I can't recommend it enough. Looks beautiful in the bottle, feels great on your skin and smells absolutely amazing.

Shower and shampoo sea
First time using molton brown my brother is a big user,.Having read alot of reviews which were really negative i still thought i would give them ago,,so pleased i did i revieved my order very quickly.My box was not in the order having emailed the company this was sent out super quick, please ignore the negative reviews you wont be disappointed,The shampoo and shower gel is a gift but i have had a cheeky little dot on my hand it smells divine
