Le Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick (N°114 Nude Amande)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Givenchy Le Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick comes in sleek-looking packaging. The cover is wrapped in black leather with the Givenchy logo imprinted on it. I don’t really like the inner component though. The whole thing has a mirror finish, so it is a fingerprint magnet. I’m not sure if mine was slightly defective, but the part that holds the lipstick is slightly wobbly. As I’m applying the product, the top edge of the component will dig into the lipstick and crack it a bit. The formula of the product is nice. It lasts throughout the entire day and has a velvety satin finish. I received the shade 111, which is a pretty rosy nude. It is very pigmented, glides on like butter, and doesn’t dry out my lips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lipstick is incredibly classy. To start, the bullet is partly made from a leather like material that ups the class factor. The lipstick is stamped with the Givenchy logo. I'm thoroughly impressed with the look. The lipstick itself is incredibly creamy smd smooth. I'm picky about lipstick, but this one really worked for me. The color on my lips is much lighter than in the tube, but really really pretty. A little goes a long way with this one. It lasts ages even through drinking and eating. I did notice my lips looked a little drier than usual on the first application but the next day they were really soft. I've been wearing it so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is so pretty! . The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was too red for me. I love that it’s long lasting and super pigmented unlike many others. One stick of this will last a long time. You don’t have to reapply several times a day like you have to do with most others. I do think that the price is outrageously expensive for lipstick but if you wear makeup every single day (I don’t) , I think it would be worth it.

The box it comes in looks nice and would make a perfect gift for any lady. The lipstick glides smoothly and lasts hours and hours on my lips. I love that it doesn’t have a strong scent and doesn’t feel heavy on my lips. The color is a little too dark for me, so I look forward to buying this lipstick in a different shade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package is beautiful. The lipstick case itself is perfection! Took me a minute to realize how to open it and put it back. It isn’t sticky which is great. The color goes on smooth and adds just enough color to make your lips more pronounced. It does have a light scent but not over powering at all. I definitely want to get some other colors for sure.

I gifted this to a friend who loved the product. They said it was a great formula, very smooth, and loved the color. They did share that for a high end product that the packaging felt lower quality.
